The next green revolution… (Reblog)

… This time without fossil fuels. 😀

I came across this article via Rhonda from Down to Earth blogging fame and her weekend reading post. I often skim through the titles to see what jumps out at me and this time it was this article which is fantastic. The numbers presented range from amazing right through to mind blowing. Just a pity that we industrial farming countries can’t use the system to grow organically and naturally but then again, I’m not such a huge fan of industrial farming anyway. Maybe it’s time we broke up these huge farms, went back to small family farms and paid our farmers what they are worth! We used to be able to make a living off these smaller blocks of land. When did that change?

Anyway, that’s getting off topic. Check out the link for a great read with a large pile of hope thrown in. 🙂

Amazing Stats Huh! Is anybody taking notice? The Women’s Weekly this month featured several farms where bio-farming practices had replaced current farming practices with great success.
