That time of year again

It’s the time of year where people start to reminisce on the year that was. Many of the blogs I follow, along the self-sufficiency or homesteading line are recounting all they’ve achieved in the last year, on harvests, builds, animals and more. Do results line up with new years resolutions made about 355 days ago and has that time been productive.

I’m not going to do that. 😉

This last year has been a tough year for us. We have had some highs and made progress on shaping our block into a self-sufficient paradise but the lows have been big ones and I don’t fancy reliving it to be very honest.

So I’m going to keep it short and simple and wish you a

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

&

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Whatever your beliefs and traditions, stay safe over the next 10 days until 2016 picks up where 2015 will leave off (and stay safe after then too of course 😉 ). May the best of 2015 be the worst of your years to come, and heath, happiness and climate conscious adventure to you all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.

I’ll see you back here in 2016. 🙂

Well, a blog is not necessarily a tell-all! I now some folks like to use it for airing out, but I have to agree with you that not everything is for public consumption. Some things just aren’t our business! 😉

I confess that in my own end of the year posts (and first of the year goals), I only include homesteading related things, because that’s what my blog is about – homesteading. There’s a lot more going on, but a lot of it is off topic.

I don’t do end-of-year posts either. I have enough trouble just doing ordinary ones! 😦

Sorry to hear 2015 had some lows….hoping 2016 will be a top year for you all.

I'd love to know what you think so please leave me a comment.
