Making good from bad

We’ve spent a weekend rather unwell. A nasty tummy bug laid the kids and I low on Sunday and Monday and we’re still coming good even now.

This morning was glorious. I was up before the sun and although it’s cool and overcast this morning (a pleasant change from scorching sun in cloudless skies) it was lovely to firstly watch the light oozing into the day and then a little later, be outside gardening.

I am woman hear me roar

There simply aren’t enough hours in the day when it comes to weekends at the moment and with Martin having a much needed mini holiday it was the kids and I this weekend. We did get a whole heap done in the garden but even so, there was plenty more which needed to be done too.

A weekend blast, same as the last

Yes, another weekend has come and gone in a haze of hard work, sweat, lots achieved and exhaustion. I am so exhausted I think my hair is aching!

Another day (or more)

I’d say another dollar but I never seem to see that other dollar somehow. Don’t ask Martin either. He’d tell you I’d just spent it! 😉
